Dear Employers,
Auburn Career Center will be hosting a REVERSE JOB FAIR, Thursday, May 4th from 12:30-2:30 at 8140 Auburn Road, Concord, OH. Plan to meet as many graduating, trained seniors in health care, manufacturing, welding, IT, culinary, cosmetology, electrical, automotive, HVAC and landscape horticuluture!! Bring job applications and plan to take resumes of graduates. Seniors will be ready to interview, and show off projects they have been working on. Employers will go to student labs where students will be ready to talk to you!! This event is FREE and there are no limits to the amount of employers who can attend! QuickBooks for Beginners I
This QuickBooks Hands-On Workshop for Beginners (I) will show you how to unlock the power of QuickBooks, and take direct control of your business finances. By the completion of this class, you will have a clear understanding of how to setup and manage your company finances on a day to day basis, as well as access basic financial information you need to help you become successful in operating your small business. Topics included in this workshop are:
(1) Setting up your Business-identifying methods for navigating QuickBooks and importance of setting preferences.
(2) Accounts Payable-vendors, purchase orders, inventories, entering/paying bills, check payments.
(3) Accounts Receivable- customers, estimates/sales orders, invoices/statements/credits and receiving payments.
(4) Banking-bank accounts, making deposits, bank reconciliation and credit cards.
This is a 'hands-on' class and laptop computers with QuickBooks software installed will be provided for use in this workshop. This class is for those using the desktop versions of QuickBooks for Windows (Pro, Premier and Enterprise), NOT the Online or Mac versions. Coffee, Tea and Water Included.
