Chamber Reads - MACC Book Club
Chamber Reads-MACC Book Club
Our last Chamber Reads book club book and wrap-up event were a big success so don't miss out on this one!
Are you looking for ways to maximize productivity and growth? Do you want to be able to become a better leader?
Our next book club book has come highly recommended by our very own chamber member, Nancy Brown, Owner of Ladies & Gentlemen Salon & Spa!
Tribal Leadership: Leveraging Natural Groups to Build a Thriving Organization - By Dave Logan, John King, Halee Fischer-Wright.
Quick Book Summary: Within each corporation are anywhere from a few to hundreds of separate tribes. In Tribal Leadership, the authors demonstrate how these tribes develop—and show you how to assess them and lead them to maximize productivity and growth. A business management book like no other, Tribal Leadership is an essential tool to help managers and business leaders take better control of their organizations by utilizing the unique characteristics of the tribes that exist within.
Wrap-Up Event: On Monday, October 6h, we will hold our wrap-up book discussion at Let's Meet Event Space at Ladies & Gentlemen.
Appetizers and beverages will be provided. It will be an informal get together to discuss what you thought about the book network, and have some fun.

Blueprint for AI-Powered Marketing: A Hands-On Workshop - IN PERSON
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a powerful technology that can help simplify business tasks and create new opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs – but knowing how to use it may seem out of reach. Developed with input from experts at Google, this second part of the series will explain AI-powered tools by Google that can help small businesses be more efficient, enhance customer experiences, and drive growth. In this hands-on event, you'll go beyond the basics and actively build a customized 90-day marketing plan for your business using AI, specifically Google's Gemini.
Here's what you'll experience and achieve:
Targeted Focus: Choose two key marketing areas from Lead Management, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Brand Management, Search Engine Optimization, or Customer Success Support to align with your immediate business needs.
Strategic Objectives: Within your chosen areas, pinpoint the specific stages where your business needs the most attention. This will help you define two clear, actionable marketing objectives for your 90-day plan.
Actionable Activities: Select three high-impact activities for each objective (a total of six activities) that will directly support your goals and lead to measurable progress.
AI-Powered Planning: Learn the art of prompt chaining with Gemini to develop detailed projects and tasks for each of your six activities. You'll discover how AI can help you outline concrete steps to achieve your marketing goals within 90 days, leveraging the resources you already have.
Tangible Takeaways: Walk out with a complete, objective-driven 90-day marketing plan tailored to your business, along with a workbook that makes it easy to replicate the process.
This workshop is presented by Lindsay Sims McKee, a highly accomplished digital marketing educator and expert, with extensive experience in business and entrepreneurship. As Ohio's Grow with Google Digital Coach since 2020, she has provided invaluable training and coaching to thousands of small businesses, helping them leverage Google tools to enhance their online presence and drive growth.
